DELAND, Fla. – The Stetson University beach volleyball team has once again been recognized for its dedication to academic excellence, earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2024–25 academic year.
The Hatters were among 1,450 teams across all levels of collegiate and high school volleyball nationwide to receive this prestigious honor, which is awarded to programs that maintain a year-long cumulative team GPA of 3.30 or higher.
This year's recognition marks the 13th time in program history—and the eighth consecutive year—that Stetson Beach Volleyball has received the AVCA Team Academic Award, underscoring the program's strong tradition of success in the classroom.
In addition to their academic achievements, the Hatters wrapped up a strong 2025 campaign with a 25-11, advancing all the way to the ASUN Championship match.
