Hatters Host Pair of ASUN Matches This Weekend

Stetson women's soccer hosts a pair of ASUN Conference matches this weekend when the Hatters host Kennesaw State, 7 p.m., Friday, and Lipscomb, 1 p.m., Sunday at the Athletic Training Center.

The Hatters (5-2-2 overall, 0-0-1 ASUN) are undefeated in their last six games, including a scoreless draw last Saturday against defending league champion FGCU in the ASUN opener for both teams. Stetson's defense shutout the ASUN's top scoring team and goalkeeper Emily Plotz made nine saves to earn ASUN Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Kennesaw State (5-3-3, 0-0-1) also played to a draw last weekend with USC Upstate. Lipscomb (4-5-2, 1-0-0) picked up a 3-0 win at NJIT in its conference opener.

Both games this weekend will be streamed live on HatterVision and live stats will also be available at Stetson Stats.com.

Notes: Stetson is 4-7-2 all-time against Kennesaw State, but 2-0-1 against the Owls in the last three meetings … the Hatters hold a commanding 10-3-2 record against Lipscomb, including a 2-0 last season in Nashville … following Sunday's game the Hatters have just one home contest remaining, against Jacksonville on Oct. 21.
