Hatters Host Familiar Foe Jacksonville on Monday

Stetson men's basketball faces one of its oldest rivals when the Hatters welcome Jacksonville to the Edmunds Center for an ASUN Conference contest, Monday at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3 and can be heard locally on WSBB AM 1230 and 1490.

Stetson and JU first met on Feb. 7, 1958 in Jacksonville and have since played a total of 81 times, including last Wednesday when the Dolphins earned a 76-69 win. The Hatters and Dolphins have played each other annually since JU joined the ASUN prior to the 1998-99 season.

The Hatters (10-14, 2-5) have lost five straight games following Saturday's 73-65 home loss to North Florida. Divine Myles scored a game-high 18 points for Stetson but the Hatters shot just 34.3 percent from the field and made just 3 of 20 shots from 3-point range.

Jacksonville (11-13, 5-2) is second in the ASUN standings, but enters play Monday after a 69-65 loss at league-leading FGCU on Saturday night.
