Hatters Open Road Trip Sunday at Missouri State

Stetson men's basketball faces its first road challenge of the season when the Hatters visit Missouri State, 4 p.m., Sunday, in Springfield, Mo. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3.

The game is the first of four straight games for the Hatters as part of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. It's also the beginning of a three-game road trip which also features contests at USC (Nov. 14) and Southeastern Louisiana (Nov. 17).

Stetson (1-0) are looking for their second straight 2-0 start to the season after earning a 116-66 win over Johnson (Fla.) on Wednesday. Christiaan Jones led five players in scoring with 20 points, adding eight rebounds and three assists.

Missouri State (2-0) has won its first two games of the season under first-year head coach Dana Ford. The Bears downed Robert Morris, 73-60, at home on Friday night.

Jarred Dixon leads Missouri State in scoring through the first two games, with 19 points per game.
