Hatters Close Road Trip Saturday at Southeastern Louisiana

Stetson closes out a lengthy road trip on Saturday when the Hatters visit former conference foe Southeastern Louisiana. Tip off from Hammond, La., is set for 5 p.m. Eastern.
 
Saturday's game is a part of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic.
 
The Hatters (1-2) are looking to snap a two-game losing streak after Wednesday's 95-59 loss at USC. Sophomore guard Christiaan Jones led the Hatters with 11 points. Through the season first three games, Jones leads the Hatters in scoring (14.3 ppg) and is second in rebounding at 7.7 boards per game, a figure which is seventh in the ASUN Conference.
 
Stetson enters play on Saturday as the top rebounding team in the ASUN. Through three games, the Hatters leads the conference in rebounds per game (48.7) and are second in rebounding margin (+11.0).
 
Southeastern (1-3) is the defending Southland Conference regular-season champion and was picked to finish second in 2018-19. So far this season, the Lions have a win over Wiley College and losses to LSU, Nebraska, and Texas Tech.
