Hatters Face Lipscomb Monday in ASUN Tournament Quarterfinals

Stetson men's basketball begins ASUN Conference Tournament play against Lipscomb, 8 p.m., Monday at Allen Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
 
The Hatters (12-19) are the tournament's No. 7 seed while Lipscomb (20-9) serves as the No. 2 seed. The winner of Monday's game will face off against third-seeded Jacksonville or sixth-seeded Kennesaw State on Thursday. The game will be streamed live on ESPN3.
 
Stetson is led into the tournament by second-team All-ASUN guard Divine Myles. The senior recently became Stetson's all-time leading scorer and leads the Hatters and ranks fourth in the ASUN in scoring at 16.8 points per game.
 
The Bisons boast a pair of ASUN first-team selections in Garrison Matthews and Rob Marberry. Matthews leads the ASUN in scoring at 21.4 points per game while Marberry is sixth at 16.4 points.
 
Lipscomb swept the season series from the Hatters, winning 85-82 on Jan. 20 in Nashville, and 82-73 on Feb. 15 in DeLand.

•This is Stetson's 25th appearance all-time in the ASUN Tournament, tops among current league members.
•Stetson is 8-19 all-time in quarterfinal play and 11-24 overall.
•The Hatters are 1-0 all-time against Lipscomb in the ASUN Tournament. Stetson defeated the Bisons, 96-75, in the 2016 semifinals in Nashville.
•Luke Doyle has 206 career 3-pointers and needs one more to become Stetson's all-time leader, He is also 14 points shy of 1,000 for his career
•Divine Myles is 3 assists shy of becoming the first player in ASUN Conference history with 1500 points, 500 rebounds, 500 assists and 150 steals in a career.
