Hatters Blanked by Western Kentucky

Box Score Stetson women's tennis suffered a 4-0 loss to Western Kentucky on Wednesday at Many Stoll Tennis Center in DeLand.

The Hilltoppers (8-5) took the doubles point by winning matches at No. 1 (6-1) and No. 3 (6-2).

Leading 1-0, Western Kentucky earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6, a 7-5, 6-2 decision at No. 1, and a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 3 to clinch the match.

The Hatters (7-5) were either winning or tied in the other three singles matches when play was halted.

Stetson returns to action when the Hatters host LIU Brooklyn, 10 a.m., Friday.
