Hatters Host Liberty in ASUN Opener

Stetson men's soccer makes its 2018 home debut on Thursday when the Hatters welcome ASUN Conference newcomer Liberty to the Athletic Training Center. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The game can be seen on ESPN+.

After a tough start to the season under first-year head coach Cristian Neagu, the Hatters (2-2) have won two straight games following last Sunday's overtime win at Bucknell. Sophomore Erwan Colas broke a scoreless tie late in the second overtime to send the Hatters to a 1-0 victory.

Senior goalkeeper Braeden Luna picked up his first career shutout on Sunday, making three saves.

Liberty (3-3) has won just once in its last four games. Since opening the season with consecutive wins against North Greenville and VMI, the Flames have dropped contests to UCF (4-1), East Tennessee State (1-0), and on Sunday suffered a 2-1 loss to Manhattan.

The Flames enter the game leading the ASUN in goals (12), assists (12) and shots per game (13.3). Tresor Mbuyu is second in the conference with five goals.
