Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Athletic Communications

USF Downs Hatters, 3-1

Three different players scored goals for USF as the Bulls handed visiting Stetson a 3-1 defeat, Tuesday at Corbett Stadium in Tampa.
 
USF (3-5-1) opened the scoring when Avionne Flanagan beat Stetson keeper Owen Jack one-on-one for a goal in the 11th minute.
 
The Hatters (3-4-1) knotted the score when Erwan Colas raced past the USF defense for his third goal of the year, in the 43rd minute. Daniel O'Brien made a perfect pass to a streaking Colas for the assist.
 
The Bulls regained the lead just after halftime when Henrique Gallina headed in a corner kick in the 53rd minute. Felipe Baptista Gave USF a 3-1 advantage with a goal in the 82nd minute.
 
Stetson out-shot USF, 15-13, with each team managing five shots on goal. Jack made two save sin goal for Stetson.
 
The Hatters return to action when they visit Florida Atlantic, 6 p.m., Saturday.
