Hatters Host UNF, FGCU in Final Weekend; Senior Day Sunday

Stetson women's soccer closes out the 2019 regular season this weekend when the Hatters host ASUN Conference foes North Florida, 7 p.m., Thursday, and FGCU, 1 p.m., Sunday.

Sunday's game will mark the final home contest for Stetson's five seniors. Lily Ammon, Florencia Baldassini, Katie Christenson, Ellie Hackett and Lindsey Parent will be honored in pregame ceremonies.

Stetson (2-11-2 overall, 0-5-1 ASUN) has already been eliminated from postseason contention, so the Hatters will focus their energy this weekend on finishing the season strong.

Both North Florida (9-5-2, 3-2-1) and FGCU (10-4-1, 5-1-1) are looking to improve their postseason standing and seeding. The Ospreys have yet to clinch a berth in the ASUN Tournament, but they enter the weekend in fifth place. The Eagles are tied atop the conference standings with Lipscomb, and a win will give FGCU at least a share of the regular-season championship.
