Sanchez Finishes Strong at Wake Forest Invitational

Stetson's Antoine Sanchez won a singles and doubles match on Sunday as the Hatters closed play at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Sanchez, a junior, defeated Parth Aggarwal of Kentucky in straight sets, before he and Linus Bergevi earned a doubles victory over a duo from Charlotte.

"Today we finished with a strong showing overall from Antoine Sanchez in singles and doubles, alongside his playing partner Linus Bergevi," Stetson assistant coach Max Koller said. "The team is working on composure on the court, and strong competitive mindsets across the board. We now have some time to get back to the drawing board the next couple weeks and we're looking forward to getting better."

The Hatters have concluded their fall schedule and will next compete when their spring season begins in January.
