The Stetson Hatters will begin a four-game road trip Wednesday night when they visit the 13th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington.  Tip-off at Memorial Coliseum is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage on SECN+.

The Hatters (1-0) will also face Morehead State, Saint Francis and Tennessee during the nine-day journey.  Those four opponents combined for 84 wins last season.

"It's a hard road swing, but it's by design. It's going to be good for us," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said.  "I think we've got two really good BCS schools on the bookends with Kentucky and Tennessee, but then I think the two middle teams are really good mid-majors.  Plus, it's always challenging to play on the road, so it's going to be a real test for us. We'll see a lot, and we'll get a lot better."

Stetson is 1-0 following a season-opening 31-point victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Nov. 5. Day'Neshia Banks led the way with 21 points while Megan Vincent added 15.  Six newcomers made their Hatter debuts, combining for 31 points and 24 rebounds.

Kentucky is 2-0 after opening with a home victory over Mount St. Mary's and a road victory at Middle Tennessee State.  Sophomore Rhyne Howard leads a balanced scoring attack with an 11.5 ppg average.

"They've got arguably the best player in the country with Howard," Bria said. "She was the National Freshman of the Year last year, and she's just picked up right where she's left off. They've also got a good supporting cast. They can really shoot it, and they've got some bigs that get in there and post up strong.  Everybody's going have to guard, and we're going to have to play team defense. The main thing for us is to take care of ball, and we have to rebound. Those are the two key things.  If we can do that, then I think we will be competitive."

Kentucky went 25-8 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament last spring.   Wednesday will mark Stetson's first trip to Lexington since 2005.

In addition to the live broadcast, live stats, the @StetsonWBB twitter feed and the HatCheck text messaging system will provide in-game updates.
