Reece Duff Named to the ASUN All-Academic Team

DeLand, Fla. -- For the second year in a row, Stetson University men's cross country runner Reece Duff (Jacksonville, Fla.) has been named to the ASUN All-Academic team, the league announced on Wednesday.

Duff, a junior Molecular Biology major with a 3.95 cumulative GPA, has competed in all five races for the Hatters this season. He ran a season-best time of 26:31 at the Louisville Cross Country Classic in October. Duff also placed 51st at the ASUN Championship with an 8K time of 26:52, helping Stetson record a fifth-place team finish. He is a two-time member of the ASUN Honor Roll and a four-time Stetson Dean's List recipient. He also earned Google Cloud Academic All-District team honors last year.

Duff's selection marks the seventh time in the past eight years a Hatter has earned men's cross country ASUN All-Academic team honors. Previous Stetson runners to be selected were Kyle Burton (2012), Andrew Epifanio (2013), and three-time honoree Joe Beery (2014-16).

The Hatters will compete at the NCAA South Region Championships Friday morning in Tallahasee, Fla.
