Hatters Look to Rebound Saturday Against Monmouth

Stetson lacrosse returns to action when the Hatters host Monmouth, noon, Saturday, at the Athletic Training Center.
 
The Hatters (0-1) opened the 2019 season last Sunday with a heartbreaking 14-13 overtime loss to Quinnipiac. Shelby Lehmann led the Hatters with five goals, while Karli Maguire, Sandra Stephan and Marina Rotella each scored twice. Riley Reagan had four assists.
 
For Monmouth, Saturday's game will serve as its season opener. The Hawks, members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, were 8-10 last season including 6-2 in MAAC play. They are picked fourth in the conference's preseason poll.
 
Saturday's game will be streamed on HatterVision. Admission to the game is free.
