Hatters Host Fresno State on Sunday

Stetson lacrosse hosts Fresno State, 11 a.m., Sunday, at the Athletic Training Center in DeLand.
 
The Hatters (0-3) are seeking their first victory of the season. In their last outing, Stetson suffered an 11-3 setback last Sunday at Arizona State.
 
Taylor Zuberer, Riley Reagan and Saige-Lyn Gidzinski each scored goals for the Hatters against the Sun Devils, and Kiera McCarthy made 12 saves in goal.
 
For the season Shelby Lehmann leads the Hatters and ranks 7th in the ASUN with seven goals. She is also 8th in the league with nine total points. Reagan is 3rd in the conference with six assists, while McCarthy leads the league with 18 ground balls.
 
Fresno State (3-1) is off to the best start in program history. The Bulldogs, who face Jacksonville on Friday, have wins over UMass-Lowell, Cal and Oregon.
 
The Hatters will see a familiar face on the sideline on Sunday. Former Hatter Elisabeth Blackwell is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Bulldogs. Blackwell played for the Hatters from 2013-15 and graduated from Stetson in 2015 with a degree in Biology.
