Hatters Host Marquette on Sunday

Stetson lacrosse returns to action this weekend when the Hatters host Marquette, Noon, Sunday at the Athletic Training Center in DeLand.
 
The Hatters (0-4) enter Sunday seeking their first win of the season after suffering a 19-11 loss at home last Sunday against Fresno State. Marina Rotella led Stetson offensively with three goals, while Erin Collier and Riley Reagan each scored twice.
 
For the season, Shelby Lehmann continues to lead the Hatters with eight goals and 14 total points, ranking fifth in the ASUN in points. Lehmann and Reagan lead the Hatters and are tied for fourth in the ASUN with six assists apiece.
 
Marquette (3-4) enters this weekend on the heels of back-to-back losses, to Ohio State and High Point. So far this season, the Golden Eagles have wins against Louisville, Detroit Mercy, and Kennesaw State. Marquette is offensively by Charlotte McGuire (23 goals, 26 points) and Grace Gabriel (22 goals, 25 points).
 
Sunday's game is the second meeting all-time between the Hatters and Golden Eagles. Marquette defeated Stetson, 22-12, on Feb. 25, 2018 in Milwaukee, Wis.
