Hatters Blank Embry-Riddle

Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--Stetson women's tennis picked up a 7-0 win in an exhibition match with Embry-Riddle on Saturday.

The Hatters swept through the Eagles, winning the doubles and all five of the contested singles matches.

"I thought we competed well today," Stetson head coach Travis Sandlant said. "Embry-Riddle played some good tennis against us which produced some good quality pressure matches."

Stetson dropped just two sets in singles after capturing the doubles points with a clean sweep. Katie Kubicz, Brooke Milner and Laia Pasini each won in straight sets for the Hatters.

The Hatters return to action on Friday, Jan. 31, when they face No. 18 Texas A&M at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
