Men's Soccer Athletic Communications

Statement on Stetson Men's Soccer

The safety of student-athletes is the top priority of Stetson University Athletics and during a routine background check and audit, it was discovered that Cristian Neagu, the head coach of the men's soccer program, has been in violation of University policies and procedures. Upon this discovery, university athletics took immediate and appropriate action. The university holds athletics staff members to the highest level of integrity to ensure the health and safety of student-athletes.
 
Stetson will begin a national search for a new head coach in the immediate future.
