Preview
The seventh-ranked Stetson Hatters will host the Stetson Spring Fling this weekend at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Courts.  Admission is free to all home matches.  The Cooper Beach Courts are located at 418 E Minnesota Ave., between Amelia Ave. and Garfield Ave.

Stetson will face No. 16 Georgia State and St. Petersburg College on Friday, and the Hatters will face No. 18 Florida Atlantic and Saint Leo on Saturday. Visit the tournament central page for the full schedule.

In the Polls
After a 3-2 start to the season which included two Top 20 wins, the Hatters are ranked seventh in the nation in this week's AVCA Coaches Poll.  It is just the second time Stetson has been ranked as high as No. 7 during the regular season.  Stetson is also ranked seventh in the DiG Magazine Collegiate Beach Poll.
 
ASUN Pair of the Week
Ana Costa and Kyce Martins were named ASUN Pair of the Week after going 5-0 at the Seminole Beach Bash.  The Brazilian duo defeated pairs from No. 2 Florida State, No. 7 Cal Poly, and No. 16 TCU, along with Houston Baptist and Louisiana-Monroe.

Winningest Coach
Head Coach Kristina Hernandez won her 150th career dual on Saturday vs. ULM.  She is the winningest active coach in the NCAA, and she was named to the VolleyballMag.com top up-and-comer coaches list.  Her career record stands at 151-54.

Second-Winningest Program
The Hatters now have 173 dual match wins in school history, the second highest total in the NCAA behind Southern Cal:
1. USC 205

2. Stetson 173
3. FSU 167
4. Hawai'i 160
5. Pepperdine 153

Home Sweet Home
Stetson went 11-1 at home last season and is 67-17 all-time at the Cooper Beach Courts.

Career Rankings
Sunniva Helland-Hansen ranks fourth on Stetson's all-time wins list with 81 dual match victories.  She trails only Rachel Noble (96), Kristin Lind (88), and Darby Dunn (86).  Carly Perales ranks sixth with 75 dual match wins.  Helland-Hansen and Perales are the winningest pair in Stetson and ASUN history with 75 dual match wins.  Rebecca Ingram and Quinci Birker have won 50 matches as a pair.


First Wins
Freshmen Kamryn Johnson, Shae Henson, and Madison Bobes each earned their first career victories last weekend. Martins, a former St. Petersburg College player, notched her first win as a Hatter.
