Hatters Visit Kennesaw State for Weekend Pair

Stetson men's basketball visit ASUN Conference foe Kennesaw State for a pair of games this weekend, beginning 6 p.m., Friday, at the KSU Convocation Center. The teams will meet again, 4 p.m., Saturday. Both games can be seen on ESPN+.

These games were originally scheduled for next weekend in DeLand, but once again the league schedule was shuffled earlier this week due to teams being placed into COVID protocols.

The Hatters (7-10 overall, 4-6 ASUN) are still seeking their first conference weekend sweep of the year after splitting a pair of home games last weekend with Lipscomb. Stetson has split four of its five conference weekends to this point.

Stetson has become one of the more productive 3-point shooting teams in the ASUN, especially since conference play began. In conference play, the Hatters rank second in total 3-pointers (74), 3-pointers per game (9.9), and 3-point field-goal percentage (.375). In 10 conference games, the Hatters have made 10 or more 3-pointers six times. Overall, the Hatters have hit double figures 10 times in 17 games.

Kennesaw State (3-15, 0-10) is seeking its first conference victory after suffering two home losses last weekend to league-leading Bellarmine.
