Preview
Looking to bounce back from a 1-3 weekend in Boca Raton, the Stetson Hatters (10-6) will host ASUN foe Florida Gulf Coast Wednesday afternoon for a double dual at the Cooper Beach Courts. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m. with live scoring on GoHatters.com. Attendance is limited to player pass list only.

School Record
With 96 career wins, senior Carly Perales is currently tied with former teammate Rachel Noble (2016-19) for the most dual match victories in program history. She needs one more win to break the school record, and four more wins to reach 100.

In the Polls
Stetson is ranked 16th in the nation in this week's AVCA Beach Volleyball coaches poll. It is the Hatters' 56th consecutive appearance in the AVCA poll. FGCU is ranked 20th in this week's poll, setting up a Top-20 showdown on Wednesday. The last Top 20 matchup between two ASUN opponents was on April 24, 2016 between No. 8 Stetson and No. 15 UNF.

Near Miss
Stetson fell 4-1 to top-ranked Florida State this past Friday, but the 2 and 3 seeds each came within a few points of winning their match in three sets. The Hatters and Seminoles will meet three more times, including this Saturday in Columbia.

vs. FGCU
Stetson leads the all-time series 21-3 over FGCU. The Hatters are 9-0 vs. the Eagles at the Cooper Beach Courts. FGCU defeated Stetson 3-2 last weekend in Boca Raton.

Streaking

Ana Costa and Carly Perales are 12-1 in their last 13 matches at Pair 1.
Kamryn Johnson and Shae Henson are 9-2 in their last 11 matches at Pair 2 (and 1-0 at Pair 3).
Madison Bobes and Aleksandra Stadnik are 8-1 in their last nine matches at Pair 5.

Wins vs. Ranked opponents
Stetson has defeated seven ranked opponents since the start of the 2020 season, including No. 15 TCU and No. 13 South Carolina this season.

The Stetson beach volleyball program is in its 10th season of competition. The Hatters have an all-time record of 188-83.

Home Court Advantage
Stetson is 73-21 (.777) all-time the Cooper Beach Courts, including 3-3 this season.

The Head Coach
Head coach Kristina Hernandez holds a career record of 166-64. She currently is tied with UCLA's Stein Metzger as the winningest active coach in the NCAA.
