Hatters Face Ospreys in Home Finale

Senior Night on Tap for Kyamanni Stewart

Stetson men's soccer is set to take on UNF this weekend in the home finale of their spring season, 7 p.m. Saturday at the Athletic Training Center.
 
Saturday is also senior night; the Hatters will honor senior defender Kyamanni Stewart prior to the match. Stewart has appeared in 33 games in four years at Stetson.
 
The Hatters (0-3-2, 0-2-2 ASUN) faced the Ospreys back on March 6. The two teams played to a 1-1 tie, with Christian Vinasco scoring the Hatters lone goal in the effort.
 
Stetson is 0-1-1 in their two games since their last meeting with UNF, while the Ospreys are 1-1-0.
 
Stetson enters play this weekend after a gritty draw with ASUN-leading FGCU last week. Jacob Gruber made his first start in net for Stetson, finishing with four saves in a strong debut.
 
UNF (3-2-2, 1-1-1 ASUN) is allowing only 0.81 goals per match this season, the second lowest mark in the ASUN. Osprey goalkeepers have combined for only 11 saves on the season.

About the Game: This is the 18th meeting between these two programs all-time … Stetson holds the edge in the series, 11-5-1 … UNF goalkeeper Padriac Gilley has yet to allow a goal in three starts this season.
