Stetson completed its first sweep of a three-game series against Jacksonville since 2001, but the Hatters aren't quite finished with their brooms yet.

The Hatters also swept the ASUN weekly awards with redshirt junior
Eric Foggo earning league Player of the Week and redshirt freshman pitcher
Nick Durgin earning the Pitcher of the Week award.

It is the second career Player of the Week award for Foggo, who also earned the honor on April 22, 2019. It is the second time this season for Durgin to be named ASUN Pitcher of the Week, an award he also took on March 15. Last week, Durgin was selected as a national Pitcher of the Week by Collegiate Baseball.

It is the 47
th time a Stetson player has been selected as the ASUN Player of the Week, and is the second week in a row after
Hernen Sardinas earned the honor last week. Foggo is the 14
th Stetson player to earn the award multiple times.

It is the 44
th time a Stetson pitcher has been selected as the ASUN Pitcher of the Week and third time this season. Durgin is the 11
th Hatter to have won the honor more than once.

The last time Stetson swept the ASUN awards in the same week was April 8, 2019 when
Jorge Arenas and
Daniel Paret pulled off the double. Stetson also swept the ASUN awards on March 19, 2007 (Justin Bass and Chris Ingoglia), on February 19, 2007 (Shane Jordan and Corey Kluber), on March 28, 2005 (John DeStefano and Ryan Heacox) and on March 10, 1998 (Sammy Serrano and Jason Oglesby).

Foggo led the Hatters to a sweep of Jacksonville by hitting .500 during the series with two hits and two RBI in each game. He gave Stetson the lead in each of the games, twice in the first inning and once in the second inning.

Durgin threw six shutout innings in the series opener, leaving after six innings with an 8-0 lead. He allowed just three singles in the game with three strikeouts. For the year he ranks second in the ASUN with a 5-1 record, third in strikeouts with 49 and fourth in ERA with a 2.62 mark.

The Hatters (19-9) will wrap-up a five-game road trip tomorrow night with the second of four scheduled games against 11
th-ranked Florida. The Gators (18-9) won the first meeting between the teams this year 10-7.

Tuesday's game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start from the new Florida Ballpark in Gainesville. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network Plus through the ESPN Plus app.

The Hatters will return to Melching Field this weekend to continue ASUN play, hosting a three-game series against North Florida starting on Friday.
