In the second set, the Hatters found some success running a 6-2 offense and jumped out to a 14-8 lead.  The Owls fought back this time, eventually tying the set at 20-20.  The Hatters would stave off two set points at 24-23 and 25-24, but FAU tallied back-to-back points to take the set 27-25.

The Owls led wire-to-wire in the third set, although back-to-back aces from Alexis Thompson pulled Stetson to within one at 13-12.  FAU answered with a 7-1 run to pull away.
