Elena Djokovic Named to the ASUN Winners for Life Team

ATLANTA - Stetson volleyball junior outside hitter Elena Djokovic (Belgrade, Serbia) has been selected to the ASUN 2021-22 Fall Winners for Life Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday.  The award is given each semester to one student-athlete from each of the 12 institutions and honors those individuals who display excellence on and off the playing surface.

Djokovic owns a 4.00 GPA as she pursues a major in Finance and a minor in Marketing. She became Stetson's first volleyball ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year this past fall and is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District team selection.  The Belgrade, Serbia, native has volunteered with elementary children in the local DeLand area and serving as a volunteer instructor at volleyball clinics.  She ranked third in the ASUN in kills (384) and kills-per-set (3.59) on her way to second-team all-conference honors in 2021.
