DELAND, Fla. - The Stetson University women's softball team will be looking to win its second straight ASUN softball series this weekend when the Hatters welcome the Bellarmine Knights to Patricia Wilson Field for a three-game set starting with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 pm.
This will be the second all-time meeting between the two squads, but the first time the Knights will play in DeLand. Of note, Sunday's game, which starts at 1 pm, will be the team's annual Military Appreciation Game.
Bellarmine Knights (8-21, 0-3 ASUN)
Last Three Games:Â L, 6-1 vs. Jacksonville* | L, 11-2 vs. Jacksonville* | L, 4-3 vs. Jacksonville*
- Chloe Collins and Hannah Webb led the BU offense last week against Jacksonville with four hits. Collins added a pair of solo blasts while Webb had two doubles with an RBI and a run scored.
- In last year's matchup between the teams, won by the Knights, 7-1, Carson Goatley and Carley Zeigler both had two hits.
- The Knights have used two pitchers with almost identical stats, which includes: Claire Lehmkuhler - 4-11 record, 14 starts, seven complete games, 4.09 ERA in 66.2 innings and 35 strikeouts; and Carson Goatley - 3-5, 10 starts, six complete games, 4.18 ERA in 68.2 innings and 45 strikeouts.

Brianna Clary collected five hits in the series victory against North Alabama last weekend as the Hatters slugger ranks sixth in the league in both hits (32) and runs scored (23)

Lauren Hobbs quieted the UNA offense with two complete-game victories while surrendering just two runs and striking out six against the league's top offense; Hobbs sits 10th in the league with a 2.83 ERA in 10 appearances.
- The Hatters will look to win its second straight ASUN series to start the year, which they haven't done since 2015, when they won 2-of-3 at Lipscomb (3/21-22)Â and then swept Florida Gulf Coast at home (3/28-29).
