Hatters head to the 305 for final regular season tournament

Miami, Fla. -- The Sandy Hats get set for their final regular season tournament this weekend as the Hatters head to Miami for FIU's Beach Bash Invitational on Saturday, April 16 where Stetson will square off against the No. 15-ranked Panthers at 11 a.m. and Tulane at 1:30 p.m.

The Hatters come off a 3-3 week as Stetson went 1-3 at the FSU Unconquered over the weekend. Shae Henson and Kylie Neushaeferova earned two wins at the No. 1 position for the Hatters as the pair defeated opponents from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and No. 2 TCU. Most recently, the Hatters improved their record over UNF to 3-0 on the year by winning a midweek doubleheader against the Ospreys in which Stetson won 4-1 in both duals. With the two wins, the Hatters return to .500 on the year with a 15-15 overall record and remain at No. 19 in the latest AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball poll.

Stetson concludes its regular season schedule at the FIU Beach Bash Invitational as the Hatters look to even up the season series against FIU at one apiece. Stetson's dual against Tulane will be the first time the two programs have met since the Hatters took a 5-0 decision over the Green Wave back on March 30, 2019.

After bouts against FIU and Tulane, the Hatters look ahead to the ASUN Conference tournament set to begin with pool play on Friday, April 22 in Huntsville, Ala. at a time to be determined.
