Hatters headed to ASUN Championship

Huntsville, Ala. -- The Stetson University beach volleyball squad is headed to the 2022 ASUN Championship as the Hatters downed reigning ASUN champion North Florida Monday morning in the ASUN Semifinals at the John Hunt Sand Volleyball complex. Stetson will face Pool B #1 seed Florida Gulf Coast at 2:30 p.m. EST.

Noelle Weintraub and Karin Zolnercikova got Stetson on the board with a straight set win on court 5. On court 4, Audrey Gauthier and Colene Hamilton went three sets, but prevailed to give the Hatters (22-16) a 2-0 lead. Anete Namike and Carolina Ferraris sealed the win and sent the Hatters into a frenzy as the ASUN First-Team pair clinched the dual to send Stetson to the ASUN Championship against the Eagles.
