Tennis hosts final home matches of 2022 season this weekend

Senior Day for both women's and men's teams set for Sunday

DELAND, Fla. - The 2022 tennis seasons are reaching their final weeks and both the Stetson University women's and men's team have a shot at making the ASUN Championship in later April. Both Hatters' teams will be in action at home this weekend at Mandy Stoll Tennis Center with the women hosting two matches and the men one - a doubleheader on Sunday versus North Alabama which will feature both squad's annual Senior Days.

The women are in action on Friday morning versus Central Arkansas, which begins at 10 am and then start the action on Sunday against the Lions, again at 10 am. The men only face North Alabama this weekend, with that match beginning at 2 p.m. The seniors of both squads will be honored about 10 minutes prior to the start of each day's doubles matches.

Stetson's women are currently tied for second with three other teams and will clinch a spot in the upcoming ASUN Championship with its next win, while the men are currently tied for fifth with Jacksonville State and are close to securing its own spot. The top six teams in the standings make the postseason tournament.
