Hatters Continue ITA Regionals

Gainesville, FLA – Stetson women's tennis continues to compete in the southeast ITA Regionals.

Alanna DiFrancesco fell in the round of 32 to Grace Schumacher from South Florida 3-6, 0-6. Cheri Darley also came up short in her round of 32 to Given Roach out of Georgia Tech 2-6, 1-6.

In doubles, DiFrancesco and Darley couldn't quite overcome the duo from Florida Qavia Lopez and Malwina Rowinska losing 5-8 in the round of 16.

"Disappointing finish today. Our level dropped off to be competitive and get some wins. We know what we need to and where we want to get to and we will continue to build the right way," said Stetson head coach Travis Sandlant.
