Men's Cross Country

Hatters Take on ASUN Championship in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN - The Stetson Cross Country team is gearing up for a thrilling race at the Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference Championship, set to take place at Percy Warner Park in Nashville, Tennessee, and hosted by Lipscomb University. After a successful regular season that concluded with a meet at USC Upstate on October 14, the Hatters are ready to put their best foot forward in this highly anticipated championship event.

Date and Time: The championship event is scheduled for Saturday, October 28. The women's race will kick off at 10:15 AM Eastern Time, followed by the men's race at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.

Stetson's runners have shown tremendous dedication and skill throughout the season, exemplified by their impressive times and consistent performance. Here's a glimpse of Stetson's 2023 ASUN Conference top times by each runners on both teams:

Women's Team:

One noteworthy aspect of Stetson's performance this season is their consistency. Both the men and women's teams have consistently finished in the top 15 in every race they've participated in. Notable achievements include the men securing a remarkable 4th place out of 16 teams at the FAU Invite, while the women achieved a strong 5th place out of 18 in the same event.

In their biggest race of the season, the FSU XC Invitational, Stetson's men's team finished a solid 11th out of 31 competing teams, demonstrating their competitiveness in a challenging field. Meanwhile, the women's team displayed their strength by finishing 14th out of 35 teams in the same event, further highlighting their resilience and determination.

With these impressive accomplishments under their belts, Stetson Cross Country is well-prepared and eager to compete at the ASUN Conference Championship.
