Conway, Ark. - The Hatters will travel to Conway, Arkansas for a showdown with Central Arkansas Sunday afternoon at 1pm.
History
The Hatters and Bears have faced off three times with the first match up being played on August 31, 2012. The most recent game between the two teams occurred on October 16, 2022. Stetson is 1-2 in those three games.
Scouting the Hatters (11-12, ASUN 6-5)
Stetson is coming off a loss to FGCU, in which they had the undefeated Eagles on the ropes after the first two sets. The Hatters would eventually fall in five sets dropping them to 6-5 in conference. The Hatters are led in kills by
Anabelle Standish with 292 kills.
Nyah Molina totals 649 assists to lead the team. On the defensive side
Haruka Sugimoto leads the team in digs with 347 and
Sophia Grooms leads the team in blocks with 100.
Scouting the Bears (6-17, ASUN 0-11)
The Bears are led in kills by Lilly Taylor with 169, followed closely by Mackenzie Vernon with 165, and Laci Bohannan with 159. Caylan Koons leads the team in assists with 857. Defensively they are led by Lexie Gregory in digs with 263 and Allison Holloway in blocks with 57.
The Hatters will return home next weekend as they will host Queens on November 3 and Kennesaw State on November 4. Both of those matches will start at 6pm.
