The Hatters' Men's Basketball team will take on Trinity Baptist on Monday, November 6 at 7pm for their season opener. 
 
History
The Hatters and Eagles will face off for the second time. The first played on November 5, 2019 with the Hatters earning a dominant 84-26 victory.
 
Scouting the Hatters (0-0, ASUN 0-0)
The Hatters return nine players from last year including, Third Team All-ASUN Guard Stephan Swenson, First Team All-ASUN Guard Jalen Blackmon. Stetson also brings in Forward Treyton Thompson from the University of Minnesota who's insertion into the lineup allows the team to space the floor. Swenson tallied 29 points in the Hatters' exhibition game against Florida Tech, going 12-14 from the field and 5-6 from beyond the arc. Aubin Gateretse logged a double-double, scoring 16 points a grabbed a team leading 14 rebounds. 
 
Scouting the Eagles (2-0, NCCAA 0-0)
The Eagles earned two victories so far on the season against Beacon and Crowley's Ridge. Oramis Figuereo leads the Eagles in points per game with 14.5 followed by Xavier Rose with 13.5. Rose also leads the team with six assists per game. Figuereo is the team lead in rebounds as well averaging 6.5.
