DeLand, Fla – Stetson will host the Stetson Beach Invitational Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
The #17 Hatters will host #14 FAU, Coastal Carolina along with ASUN conference foes FGCU and North Alabama.
Friday morning Stetson head coach
Kristina Hernandez will be honored prior to the 8:00 a.m. match against Coastal Carolina for her 200
th win all time as a coach. Hernandez's 200
th win came against FAU earlier in the season on February 24
th.

On Saturday prior to the Stetson match at 2:00 p.m. against North Alabama, the Hatters will honor their seniors. Graduate students
Jenna Gathright and
Kennedy Warren will be honored along with senior
Shae Henson.
Jenna Gathright is a graduate student completing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jenna has played primarily on court four for Stetson. Prior to joining the Hatters she spent three years at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Gathright is from Stevensville, Michigan.
Kennedy Warren is a graduate student completing her degree in Business administration. Prior to joining the Hatters, Kennedy played indoor volleyball at the University of Houston and University of Idaho. She appeared on the Big Sky All-Tournament twice and earned first team honors in 2021, which led Kennedy to become the Big Sky player of the week twice in 2021. She started all 32 matches for Houston, where she had double digit kills in 13 different matches which included seven double doubles. Warren was also a season leader in points and kills while finishing second on the team in points per set. Warren is from Weatherford, Texas.
Shae Henson is a senior completing her degree in Health Sciences. In 2020 Henson went 4-10 with a 2-0 win over #14 Long Beach State. During the 2021 season Henson was named ASUN Second Team All-Conference, ASUN All-Freshmen Team and ASUN Honor Roll. Henson was named 2022 ASUN All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team. Shae has a current 2023 record of 13-3 playing on court one. Henson will be returning to Stetson for graduate school. She is from Merritt Island, Florida.
