Tampa, Fla. - The Stetson women's volleyball team suffered a pair of losses to Florida State and Grand Canyon, today at the UT Beach Volleyball Complex.
Shae Henson and
Karin Zolnercikova started the day strong winning both sets on court #1.
Carolina Ferraris and
Anete Namike bagged a victory in the third set on court #2 with a 21-19 score.
Audrey Gauthier and
Gabriella Bramante came up short 21-15 and 21-14 on court #3.
Klea Sirois and
Lauren Della lost by three points on court #4 to the GSU duo.
Noelle Weintraub and and
Aleksandra Stadnik were unable to secure a win for the Hatters on court #5.
Later in the afternoon, the Hatters took on the Seminoles of Florida State. The difficult competition consisted of a hard fought battle between both sides, but ultimately, Stetson came up short. The Seminoles swept the day, securing a 5-0 victory over Stetson.
