Stetson Rowing Signs 12 Newcomers

DeLand, Fla.- Stetson rowing signs twelve newcomers to the team in a class that represents five states and three countries.

Stetson added seven new rowers from the state of Florida. Ella Glover is coming from Palm City and rowed with the Treasure Coast Rowing. Emily Haynes is from St. Johns and rowed with the First Coast Rowing Club. Samantha Plumb is from Leon High School in Tallahassee and rows with Captal City Rowing. Elliott Steward is from Stuart and coxes for Space Coast. Noelle Zinn is from Orlando, Edgewater High and Edgewater Crew. Also from Orlando is Riley Olivero. 

Four newcomers will hail from outside the state of Florida. Cliff Deitelbaum will be joining the Hatters from Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Bethany Klingeman is from Tulsa, OK from Booker T Washington and the Tulsa Youth Rowing Club. Klingeman recently won the Juniors 1x Southwest Ergometer Tournament in Dallas. Rhianna Petersen is from Crystal Lake, IL. Petersen attends Crystal Lake South High School and rows for the Crystal Lake Rowing Club. Gary Rought is coming from Mason, OH. Rought represented Team USA at Coastal Rowing earning a silver medal and also went to Peru to row in the Copa America.

The final two newcomers are from Germany and Spain. Endrik Brettmann is coming from Bremen, Germany where he rows with the Bremen Rowing Club. Maria del mar Lopez Martin is coming to DeLand from Malaga, Spain.
