Box Score DeLand, Fla – Stetson (17-7, 6-2) took on Jacksonville State (15-8, 4-4) in the ASUN Quarterfinals and advanced with a 4-1 victory.
In doubles play, court three finished first with
Noa Cohen and
Anais Gabriel picking up the win 6-2. Court two with the pair of
Alanna DiFrancesco and
Cheri Darley sealed the doubles point for the Hatters as they won 6-4.
Jacksonville State started singles play with a win as
Nadejda Maslova fell 1-6, 0-6 on court one.
Alanna DiFrancesco would put the Hatters back in front by winning on court two 6-4, 6-0.
Cheri Darley would win on court four 6-3, 6-3 to give the Hatters the 3-1 overall lead.
Anais Gabriel would clinch the victory on court three for the Hatters winning 7-6, 6-3 to win the match 4-1.
"The team dug deep today. We showed some great doubles today. Thanks to everyone who came out and created a great atmosphere," said Stetson head coach

Up next for the Hatters is the ASUN Semifinals in Jacksonville, Florida to play the winner of FGCU and Kennesaw State Friday April 21 at 5:00 p.m.
