DeLand, Fla. – Stetson (8-6, 1-3) to host final two home games of the year this week. Thursday Stetson will face off against Queens (8-5, 3-1) and on Saturday (9-5, 2-2) Coastal Carolina comes to town.
Queens is coming to DeLand after defeating Kennesaw State 14-8 in their last outing. The Royals are tied for second in the ASUN Conference with Jacksonville as they both trail Liberty who is undefeated. Stetson is coming off a win of their own as they defeated Delaware State 21-11 on Sunday. The game between the Hatters and Royals will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at the Athletic Training Center. Fans can stream the game on ESPN+.
The Chanticleers are also making the trip to DeLand this week to fact the Hatters on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the Athletic Training Center. Coastal is coming off a 13-14 loss to Lindenwood on Sunday. Prior to meeting up with the Hatters they will stop in Jacksonville to face off against the Dolphins on Thursday. Saturday will be senior day for Stetson as it is the last home contest, seniors will be honored before the game so fans looking to enjoy the festivities may want to arrive a few minutes early for the 12:00 p.m. contest.
Lacrosse Seniors:
Stetson plans to honor five seniors prior to Saturday's match for their contributions to the program.
Jessica Duggan,
Caroline McLaughlin,
Molly Kearney,
Aine Williams and
Camden Frissora will all be honored prior to the 12:00 p.m. contest.
Jessica Duggan is a senior from Oyster Bay, NY graduating with a major in biology. Duggan has 27 goals and 7 assists this season for a total of 34 points. Duggan scored a season high seven goals against Merrimack on March 11
th. Duggan is a two-time member of the ASUN honor roll in the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
Carolina McLaughlin is a redshirt junior from Carle Place, NY who will be graduating with a major in international studies. McLaughlin has one assist on the year, 24 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers as a part of the defensive unit for the Hatters. McLaughlin is a two-time ASUN honor roll member for the 2021 and 2022 season.
Molly Kearney is a senior from Amesbury, MA, who transferred from UMass Amherst prior to the 2022 season. Kearney has started all fourteen games and has scored eight goals, 3 assists and forty draw controls.
Aine Williams is a graduate student from Hingham, MA, who transferred to Stetson prior to the 2023 season. Williams has netted 14 goals, 1 assists with forty one draw controls.
Camden Frissora is a senior from Middlebury, CT. Frissora has scored 17 goals and assisted on three for the Hatters this year. She also has eighteen groundballs and nineteen draw controls for the 2023 season. Frissora is a two-time ASUN honor roll member claiming the award in the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
