Tim Gennes (Aachen, Germany) will be returning to play tennis for Stetson as he will use his fifth year of elgibility to pursue a graduate degree.
Gennes has been helping the current team as a volunteer assistant coach. Prior to being a coach, Gennes was a mainstay in the lineup from the 2019-2022 season. He compiled a 37-20 singles record with 16 doubles wins.
Gennes is from Germany where prior to Stetson he was ranked no.15 in the country and earning 300 victories.
"Tim is a true Hatter, who bleeds green and white. His first 4 years were tremendous, winning a ton of matches for Stetson. We are excited that he will join us for a 5
th year, as he pursues his MBA. He brings experience, maturity, and a desire to bring the team to the next level. He will be a great asset for us next season," said Stetson head coach
