MIAMI, Fla. – Following a season that saw ASUN Coach of the Year
Lynn Bria lead the Hatters to the #2 seed in the ASUN Championship, the Stetson University women's basketball team now has their eyes set on the 2024 Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WNIT).
Stetson (17-14, 12-4 ASUN) is set to appear in its first WNIT since 2019, and their sixth all-time as a program. This will be the 12th postseason appearance for Stetson as they've made three trips to the NCAA Tournament. The Hatters, who earned one of the 11 automatic qualifiers, will play Florida International University at 7:00 PM in Miami on Thursday. All the action is set to be streamed on ESPN+ with live stats available at www.fiiusports.com.
This will be the 34th time in program history Stetson will play FIU, with the last time also being in the WNIT in 2013 with FIU coming out as victors 75-47.
Stetson joins EKU and Central Arkansas as the representatives of the Atlantic Sun conference in the tournament, the latter two entering as an at-large qualifier. Stetson and Florida International are the only two universities from the State of Florida to appear in the WNIT.

The 2024 Postseason WNIT will again have its championship game broadcast on CBS Sports Network, with tipoff set for Saturday, April 6, at 3 p.m. ET.
