Stetson Beach Volleyball split on the first day of the Florida Atlantic Beach Burrow Bash. They dropped their first game 2-3 to South Carolina before beating FGCU 3-2 with Shae Henson tallying her 90^th collegiate victory. 
 
In the match against South Carolina, the first pairing of Shae Henson and Tori Clement won 21-17, 21-11. The other pairing to pick up a point was pair 4, Lauren Della and Vanessa Hurnikova who won 21-17, 21-14. 
 
Audrey Gauthier and Carolina Ferraris dropped their point 14-21, 16-21. Third pair, Alanna Shields and Alina Urzua dropped their point 14-21, 17-21. Pair five of Klea Sirois and Kiki Drozd fell 19-21, 15-21. 
 
In the match against the Eagles, Henson and Clement won their point 21-12, 21-12. Shields and Urzua clinched the win for the Hatters on court four 24-22, 21-18. The fifth pair was Sirois and Drozd who picked up their point in three sets 19-21, 21-17, 19-17.
 
Pair two, Gauthier and Ferraris fell in three sets 20-22, 21-15, 19-21. The third pairing of Della and Hurnikova dropped their point in three sets 16-21, 21-19, 14-16. 
 
Stetson will now take on Tulane at 9:30am and Florida International at 3:30pm on Sunday, April 14.
