The #2 Stetson Beach Volleyball defeat #3 Florida Gulf Coast 3-2 Thursday afternoon in a match that came down to the last point. Audrey Gauthier and Carolina Ferraris after dropping the first set battled back to win the second and third sets and send the Hatters to the next round. 
 
Alina Urzua and Alanna Shields were the first pair to grab a point on court four 21-17, 21-16. Klea Sirois and Kiki Drozd, the fifth pairing won the second point for the Hatters in three sets, 21-19, 18-21, 16-14. Gauthier and Ferraris clinched the match on court two winning, 19-21, 21-11, 17-15.
 
Shae Henson and Tori Clement fell on court one 18-21, 17-21. The third pairing of Lauren Della and Vanessa Hurnikova dropped their point in three sets 21-19, 10-21, 13-15. 
 
Stetson will now take on #1 North Florida at 1pm on Friday, April 26. The winner of that matchup will earn their spot in the ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship Finals.
