DELAND, FLA. – Stetson Beach Volleyball fell to North Florida Thursday afternoon 3-0. The Hatters will now take on Florida Gulf Coast for the second time in the tournament. The Hatters defeated the Eagles 3-2 on Thursday to advance to the Semi-Finals against North Florida.
Pair three,
Vanessa Hurnikova and
Lauren Della fell in three sets 17-21, 21-17, 10-15. The fourth pairing of
Alanna Shields and
Alina Urzua dropped their point 17-21, 15-21.
Klea Sirois and
Kiki Drozd, the fifth pairing, fell 17-21, 17-21.
Pair one,
Shae Henson and
Tori Clement won their first set, but their match was unfinished.
Audrey Gauthier and
Carolina Ferraris also had their match unfinished because the teams played to clinch.
Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast will begin at 11am tomorrow Saturday April 27. The winner of that match will take on North Florida at 2pm for the ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship Trophy.
