Seventeenth ranked Stetson Beach Volleyball split on Friday, April 5. They fell to #8 ranked LSU before claiming victory over #15 Georgia State.  
 
Against LSU, the fourth pairing of Lauren Della and Vanessa Hurnikova won the Hatters their lone point 21-10, 17-21, 18-16.. 
 
Pair one of Shae Henson and Tori Clement fell in three sets 19-21, 21-19, 15-13. Audrey Gauthier and Carolina Ferraris dropped their point 20-22, 18-21. The third pairing of Alina Urzua and Alanna Shields fell 12-21, 15-21. Pair five, Julia Czurylo and Hanna Gubik dropped their point in three sets 17-21, 21-18, 16-18. 
 
Against Georgia State, Gautheir and Ferraris clinched the match for the Hatters in three sets 21-18, 18-21, 15-10. Pair four, Hurnikova and Della won 21-18, 21-17. The fifth pair of Klea Sirois and Kiki Drozd won 18-21, 28-26, 15-13. 
 
Pair one Henson and Clement fell 15-21, 16-21.  The third pairing of Alanna Shields and Alina Urzua dropped their point 15-21, 12-21. 
 
Stetson will take on FGCU at 8am and Southern Mississippi at 12:30pm on Saturday April 6.
