DeLAND, Fla. - The Stetson University women's basketball program has announced that Adrianne Harlow will be joining the coaching staff ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Harlow will be making a flip in the ASUN Conference, heading to the Sunshine State after 11seasons as the associate head coach at North Alabama. She brings over 20 years of coaching experience at multiple levels, including stints at Southern Illinois, Tusculum and Belmont Abbey.

"Adrianne brings a tremendous amount of experience to our staff," said Head Coach Lynn Bria. "She is very well respected within the women's basketball community and she will be a great asset to our program."

Harlow helped lead UNA to 53 conference wins within the ASUN  over six years while also coaching the top two scorers in program history, Ivy and Emma Wallen.

Prior to her time at North Alabama, Harlow spent four seasons as assistant coach at Southern Illinois, including the final 15 games of the 2012-13 season as the team's interim head coach.

Before that, Harlow was instrumental in a transcendent turnaround at Tusculum College, helping guide the Pioneers to four-consecutive winning campaigns, including back-to-back 26-win seasons and South Atlantic Conference Championships in 2007-08 and 2008-09.

At Belmont Abbey, she helped guide the Crusaders to an average of 20 wins per season, including the 2004-05 team's 22-8 record with an appearance in the Carolinas Virginia Athletic Conference (CVAC) Tournament championship game. Her first season at Belmont Abbey was a memorable one, as the Crusaders won 22 games and captured a share of the conference championship, en route to a CVAC Tournament title and a berth to the NCAA Division II East Regional.

The Tipton, Ind., native played her collegiate career at West Liberty State College, where she was a three-time All-West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) standout. Harlow was also the NCAA Division II National Statistical Champion in assists per game twice in her career. She averaged 8.0 assists per game in 1999-2000 and averaged 8.5 per game the following season. Her 843 career assists are third all-time at West Liberty and fifth most in NCAA Division II history.

Harlow led the Hilltoppers to a pair of WVIAC Championships, three WVIAC Tournament titles and three NCAA Div. II Tournament berths. She was also a three-time WVIAC All-Tournament and Second-Team NCAA All-East Region selection. In 2001, she was also selected to the Daktronics All-East Region squad and earned the WVIAC Tournament Heart and Hustle Award. Harlow ended her career with 1,005 points, 405 rebounds and finished third in program history with 185 steals and fourth in free throw percentage (74.1 percent). She was also the East Region Scholar Athlete of the Year.

In 2006, Harlow was named to the West Liberty State College Sports Hall of Fame. In March 2007, Harlow was named one of the top 25 women's basketball players in the history of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Harlow earned a bachelor's degree in 2001 from West Liberty with a specialization in administrative mathematics. Harlow earned her MBA in Finance from UNA and has a daughter named Freya. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist
