JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Stetson men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 2025 ASUN Conference Championships Friday morning at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Fla. The event marks the first of the league's fall championship slate, with all 12 conference programs set to race.
The women's 5K will open the day at 7:45 a.m., followed by the men's 8K at 8:15 a.m. Stetson will line up in Box 4 for both races.
The Hatters enter the postseason on the heels of a steady fall campaign highlighted by multiple top-five team finishes. The men's squad recorded a pair of fifth-place showings, including at the Florida Intercollegiate Invitational in August to open the season, while the women's team notched a season-best sixth-place performance at the same meet.
Lipscomb enters the weekend seeking its fourth-straight ASUN women's team title after claiming seven of the top-10 individual spots in 2024.
On the men's side, Eastern Kentucky aims to extend its own championship streak to four in a row while North Alabama's Brian Bett, the 2024 individual champion, looks to defend his title and become the 11th student-athlete in league history to win back-to-back Runner of the Year honors.
