DeLand, Fla. – Stetson beach volleyball capped off the regular season in style, sweeping a Senior Day doubleheader against USF on Saturday afternoon. The Hatters took the first match 4-1 and followed it up with a tight 3-2 victory. Between matches, the program honored senior

In the opening match, Hurnikova and
Grace Goudy struck first for the Hatters with a straight set win on court four, 21-12, 21-19.
Julia Czurylo and
Madeline Camp followed with a three-set battle on court five, coming out on top 18-21, 21-11, 15-8.
Marta Carro and
Julia Radelczuk clinched the match for Stetson on court two with a 21-19, 21-19 win, while
Maria Ozaeta and
Katie Camp added the fourth point at the topflight, rallying for a 16-21, 21-15, 15-12 victory.
The only loss in the first match came on court three, where
Youna Coens and
Hanna Gubik dropped a hard-fought three-setter, 20-22, 21-15, 9-15.
In the second match of the day, Czurylo and M. Camp came through once again, earning a win on court five, 21-18, 19-21, 15-11. Ozaeta and K. Camp followed with a clutch three-set victory on court one, 21-12, 17-21, 15-10. Carro and Radelczuk sealed the match on court two with a solid 21-18, 21-19 performance.
Hurnikova and Gubik fell in straight sets on court four 19-21, 17-21, while Coens and Goudy dropped their match on court three 10-21, 17-21.
With the sweep, Stetson wraps up the regular season at 22-10, marking the fourth straight year the program has surpassed the 20-win mark. The Hatters now turn their attention to the ASUN Beach Volleyball Championship, set to begin on Thursday, April 24.
