JACKSONVILLE — Stetson Men's Golf continues to build momentum on the conference stage, with two standout performances earning postseason recognition. Junior Gaspar Glaudas was named to the First Team All-ASUN, while sophomore Simon Engman earned a spot on the Third Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Glaudas played a pivotal role in leading Stetson to a runner-up finish at the 2025 ASUN Championship, where he captured individual medalist honors with a remarkable 11-under-par performance. His three-round total of 205 (70-67-68) included just one bogey or worse over 54 holes, securing Stetson's first ASUN individual title since Sam Ryder in 2012. Glaudas's dominant showing not only anchored the Hatters' team finish but also earned him an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Over the course of the season, Glaudas consistently posted strong results. He recorded eight rounds of 71 or better, including four rounds in the 60s. He finished the season with a scoring average of 72.1 in opening rounds, 73.6 in second rounds, and 75.2 in final rounds. Statistically, he totaled one eagle, 61 birdies, and 273 pars, averaging 7.6 birdies and 34.1 pars per tournament.
Sophomore Simon Engman, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden, emerged as a key contributor to a restructured Stetson lineup. In just his second collegiate season, Engman turned in three top-10 finishes across nine events. His standout performance came at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational, where he finished as the runner-up at 9-under par, firing rounds of 74, 67, and a season-best 66 in the final round.
Engman posted a season scoring average of 72.4 and showed particular strength in second rounds, where he averaged 70.7. He broke 70 on five occasions, including another 66 during the second round of the UNCW Seahawks Invitational. At the 2025 ASUN Championship, Engman tied for 13th place at 4-under par, carding rounds of 70-70-72.
