Hatters Host Harvard for Family and Friends Weekend

DeLAND, Fla. — Stetson Football returns to Spec Martin Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 20, for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff against Harvard as part of Family and Friends Weekend, presented by Insight Credit Union.

The Hatters (1-2) come home following their first road trip of the season at Chattanooga, while Harvard will be making its season debut in DeLand. It marks the second straight year the Crimson have opened against Stetson after defeating the Hatters in last season's meeting in Cambridge. Saturday will also be the first time an Ivy League program has traveled to Spec Martin since Princeton in 2022.

Stetson last took the field at home in record-breaking fashion. Redshirt-freshman quarterback Kael Alexander set a new program mark for yards per completion in the Hatters' victory over Warner, earning him Stats Perform FCS National Freshman of the Week honors and helping lead Head Coach Mike Jasper to his first win at the helm of the Hatters.

Through three games, Trey Clark has paced the Hatters' ground game with 140 rushing yards and two touchdowns, one of three Stetson players to score twice on the ground. In the passing attack, Wyatt Rogers leads the team with 14 receptions for 195 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Redmon has also eclipsed the 100-yard mark, hauling in five passes for 110 yards and a score, while both he and Rogers, along with Austin Hill, have recorded receptions of 50-plus yards this fall.

Harvard enters 2025 coming off an 8-2 campaign and was tabbed the preseason favorite in the Ivy League with nine first-place votes. Senior quarterback Jaden Craig returns after completing 169 of 279 passes for 23 touchdowns in ten games last fall. In the backfield, Xaviah Bascon leads the Crimson ground attack after rushing for 538 yards and five scores. Defensively, senior safety Ty Bartrum anchors the unit after posting a team-best 83 tackles in 2024.

Saturday's contest will be streamed live on ESPN+, with live stats available at GoHatters.com.
