Edmiaston’s Monster Week Nets ASUN Player of the Week

Jacksonville, Fla. – The ASUN Conference announced its weekly softball honors Monday afternoon, with Stetson's Nicole Edmiaston earning Player of the Week recognition after another standout performance at the plate.

Edmiaston continues to set the tone for the Hatters' offense, delivering a dominant six-game stretch. She posted a .647 batting average, .727 on-base percentage, and a 1.176 slugging percentage, going 11-for-17 with three home runs, 10 RBIs, and five walks. During the week, she extended her hitting streak to 15 games, further solidifying her consistency in the lineup.

Her biggest performance came in the second game of a doubleheader against USF, when she launched two home runs and drove in four RBIs. The outing marked one of four multi-hit games and one of three multi-RBI performances she recorded during the week.

On the season, Edmiaston is batting .596 with a .649 on-base percentage and a 1.106 slugging percentage for a 1.755 OPS. She has tallied 28 hits, including three doubles and seven home runs, while driving in 29 RBIs. She has also drawn eight walks and been hit by a pitch.

Defensively, Edmiaston has been just as reliable, posting a .992 fielding percentage with 119 putouts and seven assists, anchoring her position with steady play.

Stetson will look to carry that momentum into the weekend as the Hatters travel west to compete in the Oregon Classic. Stetson is set to face Samford, Oregon, and Idaho State beginning on Friday, Feb. 27.
